Skirrid Fawr is only a 30 minute drive away from Ynys Hut, well worth a visit. The walk will take you through beautiful woodland and out onto an open mountainside, before a steep climb to the summit 😍
The Skirrid is also known locally as ‘The Holy Mountain’. Legend tells how the dramatic landslide on the north of the mountain was caused by an earthquake or lightning strike at the moment Christ was crucified.
